Dr. Stephen Olford
As Mentor and Model to thousands of preachers, teachers, and pastors in the United States and around the world, Dr. Olford’s influence cannot be measured. He has had a significant role in the lives of many, including his longtime friend, Dr. Billy Graham. He has been called “The Preacher’s Preacher.”
Dr. Stephen Olford was one of the world’s most dynamic Christian leaders of the 20th century. Throughout his life he taught boldly and effectively about the effectiveness of expository preaching, evangelistic teaching, and spiritual growth.
The passion and power of Dr. Olford’s preaching took him around the globe. His ministries brought him into intimate contact with world leaders and the ordinary man on the street.
Dr. Olford’s life is a challenge to the Lords people, demonstrating what can be accomplished when a Christian embraces the Lord’s call to service and allows the Holy Spirit to empower that service.
The Legacy Project
The Stephen Olford Ministry Legacy (SOML)is an exciting new project initiated by the Olford family to preserve and extend the powerful preaching and teaching ministry of Dr. Stephen F. Olford.
The SOML continues to equip, empower, and release faithful pastors and church leaders to teach Expository Preaching, utilizing Dr. Olford’s teaching materials. The scope is international focusing especially on areas where pastoral training is limited.
This project will give you access to the rich legacy of Dr. Olford’s archived sermons as the Media Center Project is developed, as well as opportunities to help provide training for pastors around the world.
